Well, after the Schindler’s list DVD arrived, the plexiglass limited edition case that it came with was cracked — OH NO!!! — so I got in touch with Amazon.com, the nice folks that I bought it from, and that folks was last month. Soooo… last night I got an email from them, FINALLY – talk about slow customer service, but do not fret, there is good news to this tale!
It turns out it was a glitch on their system that caused them to not reply quickly to me,.. so, what they are going to do is refund the money I paid for my collector’s edition set AND… this is the cool part, let me KEEP the DVD I have – WOOHOO!!!! That’s primarily due to the fact the thing is quite heavy so the cost of posting and packaging back to the good ole US of A would not really be worth it, but can’t complain about that now, can I?
So that means I have some extra cash that I had already spent.. to spend on something else, oooo… *ponders what to buy*
