Isn’t she gorgeous?!?! This baby comes already multi-region – woohoo, so no having to find a handset hack to play the half of my DVD collection that happens to be region 1!!!!! 
This is the Yakumo XL2, from Amazon and only took 2 days from ordering to arriving on my doorstep!
Compared to my older model – The Matsui 110, this baby is smaller, thinner and lighter, and has a host of goodies underneath it’s hood. It’ll play MP3 cds, VCD, DVD (of course 
), DVD-R and RW along with writeable/rewriteable CD’s as well!!!
My old “beast” of a machine was picky when it came to discs and would only like CD-RW’s – go figure!
It did give me a bit of a scare this afternoon when it would play anything but my DVD discs 
After a bit of tinkering with the player’s settings, I found that the scart output wasn’t on RGB. Once that was sorted, she plays like a dream, and so far got nothing to gripe about!!
This one should last me now until those DVD Writers come down in price to something a little more reasonable!!
