The Perfect Pizza

Pizza is wonderful, and I’m more than greatful to whoever invented it *holds up a slice in their honor*
When it comes to pizza I’m pretty picky, it has to be DEEP PAN, I just don’t like a pizza base being crispy, I like something that my teeth will sink into without fear of them having pieces knocked out of them!

Of course these days you have so many choices: Deep Pan, Thin and Crispy, Stuffed Crust, “The Edge”

I sometimes do like a crust on a pizza, none of this 100% topping stuff that you can get from Pizza Hut, especially since their outer rim is simply delicious – even better dipped into a nice coleslaw and devoured after the main part of the pizza is devoured!
I’ve had the stuffed crust variety once I think, and wasn’t overly keen, but then.. I’m not really a BIG fan of cheese, somewhat ironic that I like pizza really then, eh?

As for toppings – I like a pizza to have a lot of stuff on it. When I was at university in Bradford I used to order a Vegetarian pizza and then EXTRA CHICKEN put on it — had many a strange look of the pizza guy with that request when I first started, he even mistakenly topped it with CHILLI instead of CHICKEN. Maybe it was my accent (

I like a pizza to have CHICKEN – so that’s my meat option and usually whatever variety of chicken I can get, then we need the vegetables — peppers (red, green, yellow), onions, mushrooms, pineapple and sweetcorn.. mmmm.

The size when I’m ordering take away is a nice 12″ with a side helping of a 9″ garlic bread pizza. For dessert, a nice Ross 99pence strawberry cheesecake tops the meal off nicely *drools*
