According to new research, the Dinosaurs may not have been wiped out by a dusk cloud that obscured the sun and reduced temperatures drastically akin to a Nuclear bomb, but instead cooked to death.
It is claimed that temperatures on Earth soared, and only the smaller animals and those that could either burrow under ground, or lived in the water managed to survive. The dinosaurs being the large creatures that they were simply had no where in which they could hide and get into the shade from the extreme heat. Thus they perished.
