An estimated 100 million locusts have forced tourists and locals to abandon beaches in the Canary Islands.
Isn’t a swarm of locusts supposed to be one of the signals for the end of the world or something?! First Cairo, now the Canary Islands!

A US woman has sold a 10-year-old sandwich – said to feature the face of the Virgin Mary – for £15,000.
Diana Duyser sold the sandwich on eBay to online casino GoldenPalace.com, reports the Boston Globe.
